 Fiz, ainda no ano passado, estes dois cartazes para um concerto dos (ou da?) tUnE-yArDs. 

Desencante-se quem estiver a pensar em ir a Tel-Aviv para ouvir esta música, tão boa como maluca. Depois de muitos bilhetes vendidos e tarefas cumpridas, o grupo decidiu cancelar o concerto. 

I made, still in the past year, these two posters for a tUnE-yArDs' show.

Bad news, if you're already thinking about going to Tel-Aviv to listen to their great and crazy music... the band cancelled the show.

Exquisite corpse

Eis aqui três ilustrações que fiz para o último número do "The children's book of american birds". Ilustram um conto composto por seis partes - escrito sob o processo conhecido como "cadáver esquisito" - assinado por seis autores diferentes. Tentando também seguir um pouco esse jogo, metade das partes foi ilustrada por mim, a outra metade pela Vero Navarro. Apesar dos nossos estilos apresentarem diferenças, tentámos manter uma certa unidade entre todas as ilustrações empregando a mesma técnica (desenho a lapis) e usando a mesma lógica na aplicação das cores.

These are three illustrations I did for the last number of "The children's book of american birds".

Depicting a short story made of six parts - writen under the process known as "exquisite corpse" - signed by six different authors. Attempting to follow that same game, I illustrated half of the parts and Vero Navarro illustrated the other half. Altought our styles show some differences, we tried to keep a certain unity between all the illustrations by using the same technique (pencil drawing) and by using the same logic to aply the colors.

back to the outside world, dreaming and tracing new plans for the future

Um desenho para uma tatuagem para um amigo. Descaradamente inspirado no estilo de tatuagem oriental. O desenho funciona como um módulo que se pode repetir, uma vez que o lado esquerdo encaixa/continua no lado direito. Agora falta encontrar um tatuador nas proximidades que seja capaz de tatuar isto.

A tattoo design for a friend of mine. Shamelessly inspired on the oriental tattoo style. The design works as a module that can be repeated, since the left side connects to/continues on the right side. Now we'll only have to find someone near us who's capable of tattoing this.

Quem decidir tatuar isto no corpo, tem a minha benção. Adorava ver uma foto depois.
